When faced with the choice of appropriate bathroom fixtures, the main issue we pay attention to is, of course, the size of our bathroom. Many of us dream of a large, comfortable bathtub where we could relax after a long and hard day - however, the reality of living in an apartment often does not allow for that. That's precisely why the most common sight in our homes is showers - until recently, they were mainly shower trays, but for some time, solutions like walk-in cabins that allow for the installation of linear drains have become increasingly popular.

Linear drains are a solution that works perfectly in modern bathrooms, especially when we care not only about comfort and convenience but also about the great appearance of the space. Just a few years ago, such drains were extremely rare - acrylic shower trays often ruled in Polish bathrooms, frequently the deep ones. Currently, low trays are definitely more fashionable, and the most popular trends include cabins mounted directly in the floor that are equipped with linear drains. The answer to this question is most closely related to who will be using the shower: in the case of older individuals, a linear drain may present some challenges with proper maintenance and hygiene. In this instance, a traditional low shower tray would be a better solution. Meanwhile, if we are parents of small children, a deep tray would be best suited here, allowing us to quickly wash the little one. When we care about exceptional, modern bathroom design - let's opt for a walk-in shower with a linear drain: it offers much more possibilities when it comes to designing a truly unique bathroom.

However, we should also remember that the choice of the right solution is also influenced by the heating system in the bathroom. If we choose underfloor heating, we may have to decide on either a shower tray or a wall-type linear drain rather than a floor-type one. As can be seen, there are many variable factors influencing the choice of the right solution - it's worth carefully considering the purchase, especially when arranging a new bathroom or during a major renovation.
