Trends that govern the decor of contemporary bathrooms are constantly changing. What was once uncommon a few decades ago is slowly becoming standard. This is the case, for example, with bidets. A bidet visually enriches the room, being an extremely practical device that provides enhanced comfort and hygiene for household members. A bidet with its design can resemble a good and well-known bathroom faucet with a component that enhances the composition of bathroom ceramics.
Bidet Faucet - Bidetta, or Space Saving
For owners of smaller bathrooms, we have good news - in smaller spaces where a bidet bowl simply cannot fit, there is an alternative solution - the so-called bidetta. It is a specific one-handle bidet faucet, in which the water flow is turned on and off with a button located on the handle. It is enough that such a faucet is connected to the sink located near the toilet for it to serve as a full-fledged bidet. Usually, the bidet hand shower is located at the end of a flexible hose, which is about 140 / 160 cm long. Such a bidet faucet is extremely functional and practical - and in the case of every bathroom!
Bidetta has many advantages, here are a few worth mentioning:
- Ease of installation - the bidetta can be easily installed to an existing sink faucet;
- Increases hygiene levels and facilitates washing intimate body parts without the need for a bidet - allows for saving space, as a bidet bowl is no longer required;
- Significantly increases bathroom functionality - serves not only for hygiene of intimate parts, but also for washing items like mop or shoes over the toilet.
The versatility of the bidetta is undoubtedly its advantage. This is a bidet faucet that will greatly help during daily cleaning tasks. Household members appreciate that they can easily fill a bucket with water or quickly rinse a soiled element. Of course, whether to invest in bidet faucets or a bidetta is an individual matter. Opinions on this topic are divided. Both options must be installed in the vicinity of the toilet bowl.
The installation of the bidet should also not be a problem. It is mounted directly on the wall, then it will be adjacent to the tap. There is also an option that is even more versatile and easy to install. In this case, the bidetta takes the form of a flexible hose finished with a showerhead, which connects directly to the sink. Bidets are becoming increasingly popular, especially among owners of smaller bathrooms, as well as people who value comfort. In the case of a bidet - one must descend from the toilet seat and squat over the bidet to wash properly. The bidetta allows avoiding this action and significantly shorten this process, meaning that one can use the toilet and wash practically in one place.
Standard Bidet Faucet
More and more often, bathroom users are also opting for a bidet faucet. The bidet is located in close proximity to the sink and other bathroom fixtures. It is worth ensuring that it harmonizes with these elements. It should not deviate significantly from their style and, as experience shows, standard, tried, and tested solutions work best. Bidet faucets can resemble traditional faucets, however, there is one element that significantly differentiates them - the end piece is equipped with an aerator. This allows controlling the water flow in any direction. This is a significant convenience, enabling effective washing of intimate parts. On the market, one can differentiate between two types of bidet faucets: single-handle and those with two handles. Typically, each manufacturer offers both options. The best solution is to purchase the sink and bidet fixtures at the same store to ensure their aesthetic coherence.
Classic Solutions - Bidet Faucets
They usually work well in most bathrooms, but they are already essential for spaces designed in a classic style or those of modern glamour type. Classic bidet faucets are covered with chrome-plated steel, which ensures resistance and durability. Moreover, they give the entire setup a beautiful, aesthetic color. A huge advantage of the chrome bidet faucet is its ease of cleaning. Furthermore, such a fixture will be resistant to contact with water and over the years will not lose its shine. Classic solutions typically use plug regulators, sometimes also a pop-up stopper. This can be unblocked or blocked with an additional chain, which greatly facilitates the use of the bidet.
The color of chrome steel matches the rest of the bathroom fixtures, as well as mirrors made of silver or gold with a high gloss finish. An alternative to classic solutions can be minimalist bidet faucets. In this case, they will take geometric forms, usually possessing simple, angular shapes that will fit perfectly with bathrooms maintained in Scandinavian style, as well as with subdued wall colors, such as white and gray.
