They are generally available in rectangular versions, though differently profiled baths (for example, tapered towards the centre) are also available. To increase the safety of using steel baths, some are equipped with practical, non-slip bottoms. They are somewhat heavier than acrylic baths but still have a wide range of supporters.
Steel baths are also popular because of their attractive price, which is slightly lower than that of acrylic baths. Moreover, they are covered with the previously mentioned enamel layer, which allows the use of chemical cleaning agents without the risk of damaging the bathtub. This makes steel baths very durable, and purchasing them is an excellent and beneficial long-term investment.
