Is a point drain a good solution for a shower?

A point drain is a classic and versatile drain, offering very wide application not only in bathrooms but also in utility rooms and garages. In the bathroom, it often serves as the main drain in the shower, but it is also sometimes installed as an additional drainage point, for example in case of a failure of the main linear drain or flooding of the room. Point drains available in our online store differ from each other in several respects:

  • shape (corner triangular and square)
  • size (12x12 cm, 15x15 cm, 20x20 cm)
  • finish color (chrome, black, gold)

All shower drains are made of high-quality stainless steel AISI 304, ensuring many years of trouble-free operation. With a large water throughput of 50 liters per minute, they provide stress-free showering experience.

Point drain or maybe linear?

A linear drainage does not differ significantly in terms of construction from a linear drain. What mainly distinguishes them is their appearance and places of use. The point drain is ideally suited for small cabins as it can be installed in the center. On the other hand, linear drain installation usually takes place along one of the walls. Both solutions offer the possibility to conceal the drainage by inserting ceramic tiles in place of the cover. They are sold in a set with all necessary installation accessories:

  • sealing cuff
