Small Elements vs Arrangement

Every renovation involves constantly matching different elements to each other. Tiles, wall colours, fixtures, bath, shower, sink, and many others must harmonise; otherwise, chaos will reign in the bathroom. Arranging the room with large elements like a bath or shower is somewhat easier. However, it's more difficult to choose the small ones. And after all, you can't do without them in the bathroom either.

Colours of Small Elements

We start with fixtures, which are among the first to be installed in the bathroom. Colour choices should extend to other elements, like furniture handles or towel racks. Then there's the toilet paper holder, soap dish. Everything should be matched in the best possible way. If such small elements are very "off" in colour, the effect we intended to achieve will simply disappear. It works a bit like the proverbial flower in your hat. Not everything matches and is permitted.

If we don't know how to colour-coordinate the smallest elements in the bathroom, we can always use the internet. There we will find arrangements that can become inspiration for us.

Shape and Format

It's not true that shape doesn't matter. If the bathroom fittings have rounded shapes, then they should adhere to this trend when choosing small elements. Besides, we often have trouble choosing a shape: more modern or retro style? It all depends on the general look and arrangement of our bathroom. Modern style favours more raw shapes, simplicity in execution. Retro is somewhat like a return to the past with a touch of modernity. Freestyle essentially allows for anything, but with moderation. Even it enables the creation of a unique interior. Each has its characteristics and favours different shapes. To create a bathroom style suited to us, it is worth using internet portals and observing what shapes will complement our arrangement's effect. Our imagination plus expert advice will surely create a bathroom not only of our dreams but also one that impresses everyone who visits it. Matched elements of both the equipment and decorative nature will not "clash" but instead form a unified front in the appearance of the interior.

Too Much is Not Healthy

Entering a store with bathroom fittings or decorative gadgets, we are bombarded with shapes, colours, and forms. At first glance, we like everything, and everything seems to fit. That is why it is so important not to buy anything at first glance. As far as possible, make two trips to the shops: the first to get a sense of the place, and the second for a specific purchase. Specific is the key word here. Why? Sometimes we plan on buying, for example, a decorative basket for cosmetic accessories and end up leaving with three such baskets. It's fine if we have a large bathroom and the baskets indeed add charm to the interior. But if it's a small bathroom, either we'll cram them in "by force" or simply hide them because there will be too many. Hence, the quantity of purchased additions is so important. Too many decorations will not beautify our bathroom. It will become simply overdone. Accessories chosen with moderation, in the right shapes, sizes, and colours will make the room's interior become a beautifully stunning place.
