We all dream of having a bathroom that epitomizes elegance, comfort, or a reflection of ourselves - whatever we desire, it all boils down to one thing: we want to feel comfortable in our bathroom and have the bathroom items - whether small or large - help rather than hinder us.
Functionality and the true essence of a home shower
Bathroom items nowadays have a very wide range of products and applications. As we know, some are larger, others smaller, but really what matters is their general use, which is often unrelated to their appearance. Our current 21st century has brought with it a true revolution - bathroom products in many cases have undergone a real transformation, making products like showers in many instances no longer resemble their original form.
As we know, showers consist of many elements, depending on how one perceives the term. The truth is that showers are not just about the head from which 'water flows', but also everything 'around it'. The cabin, tray, optionally a shelf next to it, or even a special hanger - all these elements make up our shower. To bring a bathroom into the 21st century, one must therefore address each of these articles. Don’t worry if you think it might be too little - you have to start somewhere!
An unconventional room appearance - is it solely dependent on add-ons?
Contrary to appearances, creating a modern interior doesn’t only depend on add-ons - in reality, they are just what they are: details meant to overshadow or emphasize all the other articles in a specific room (in our case, the bathroom). Well-chosen ones often create something like a mirage - masking the age of our bathroom, pretending it’s completely different. Meanwhile, we don’t really need those tricks to modernize our bathroom, although as we know, such tricks won’t hurt. But the question remains: Do we want the illusion of a modern bathroom, or a genuinely modern, 21st-century designed bathroom?
What a modern shower comprises, my bathroom comprises!
Bringing a bathroom into the 21st century might seem difficult for many. We believe it requires a lot of money and a great deal of time, as we need to get acquainted with the latest trends, follow designers' actions, and find out which one is on top. However, we don’t have to do this, or at least not to the extent we think.
It’s worth remembering that to start a change, you need to choose one element to kick everything off. The shower is a very good choice when we start thinking about bathroom articles, because as is known, the first changes begin with the walls, floor, and ceiling.
When choosing a shower, we should be guided by our needs - whether we need a cabin, if we want a tray, the type of head we want, or where the sprays should be located. We can also consider other features, such as hydro massage, pulsating streams, or even whether we want space to sit or place our personal hygiene articles. Contrary to appearances, each of these elements is important and by considering them, we can easily find something that suits our needs and tastes. However, remember that the more we want, the more we need to save for it - it's a rule that applies to everything!
