Time to Transform the Bathroom

The decision to renovate and completely redesign a bathroom is never easy, as it involves costs, mess, and nowhere to wash. Let's take a closer look at our bathrooms. Do we really need to change everything? Are new bathroom tiles necessary? Perhaps refreshing and purchasing a few additions might be enough. There are many possibilities for changing the bathroom decor without a major renovation. Here are the best suggestions!

Changing Bathroom Decor

It's not always necessary to change bathroom tiles, sometimes just changing the wall colour above them is enough. Enhancing functionality or expanding the bathroom space will require more effort and money, yet it's always worth the effort. Low walls and gypsum board partitions are no longer highly regarded.

We can optically enlarge small bathrooms by using mirrored tiles on the walls or glass cabinet fronts. An overly large bathroom can be reduced by using several warm colours. It's worth designing it as a bath room - freely arranging equipment, placing large flower pots, and hanging mirrors and paintings on the walls. In a high bathroom, horizontal lines should be used. To utilise the upper parts of the walls, we can opt for bathroom cabinets. If we don't want cabinets, we could, for example, create a decorative cornice from which reflected light falls on the ceiling, or simply hang a large decorative chandelier.

A narrow bathroom can be functionally divided by placing equipment one after another. Ideally, the bath or shower should be at the end, if possible, to optically shorten the room. Therefore, there are many possibilities without a general renovation.

Changing Accessories

Another way to refresh the bathroom is by replacing accessories. Baskets or containers for cosmetics, soap dishes, toothbrush holders, soap dispensers are items we hardly notice daily. It's worth having at least two sets of such accessories at home; exchanging them will give the bathroom a new look.

Lighting is also an important aspect when changing interior decor. Remember to position light sources so that they warm and appropriately brighten the rooms. There's only one thing more irritating than dim light.

Consider lighting tricks that can subtly transform our interiors. A low room will seem taller if the light from the chandelier brightly illuminates the ceiling; if we illuminate the longer wall more intensely than the others, a narrow room will appear wider.

As you can see, with simple tricks, and incurring minimal financial costs, we can achieve a major transformation in our homes or apartments.

Changing the Basin Plug to a Rubber and Colorful One?

The current market offers a wide selection of innovative products such as automatic plugs, eco-saving taps, touchless faucets, and many other options. Yet, there's still a group of advocates who support traditional taps or don't use the click-clack plug.

The bathroom space can be changed by altering the shower tray, shower, or even the basin plug itself. It's unique and one-of-a-kind.

The market offers a designer sink stop! It has become an unparalleled hit in bathroom art and gadgets. It's modern and impressive but primarily practical since you use it instead of a traditional rubber or metal stopper. The silicone sink plug, shaped like a drowning hand, in a universal size, will fit both used and newly purchased sinks.

The plug is made from high-quality silicone, a very flexible, durable, and easy-to-clean material. Silicone is also resistant to high or low temperatures. The stopper is equipped with a handy grip, significantly enhancing its comfortable use. The product is very simple to operate - if you want to drain water from the bathtub after a bath, just grab the plug by the handle and pull it up!
