Linear Drain 70 cm - Set Characteristics

Mexen offers a range of bathroom accessories. Among them is a high-performance, reliable linear drain. The 70 cm length is a sufficient parameter ensuring effective water drainage from the shower cabin. The material also deserves attention. The stainless steel used to make these products is a non-slip material, resistant to many negative factors, such as temperature changes, the action of chemicals, and cosmetics. Customers are also encouraged by reliable product information, affordable pricing, and positive user reviews. The floor linear drainage consists of several basic elements, the detailed description and purpose of which are specified in the installation instructions. The set includes: a water-draining siphon, a cover made of steel or glass with a width of several dozen mm, a channel, and a grate for tiling. Surrounding the channel is a flange that facilitates the correct installation of the drain. Due to the applied flange, the tiles will be evenly laid and perfectly leveled, so that water flows unimpeded to the outlet. Before installing the system in an existing bathroom, check the thickness of the ceiling. Due to the inability to drill a deep groove, a low siphon should be chosen, with which the installation depth is only 52 mm.

Equipment for Modern Linear Drains (width 70 cm)

Among the products offered by Mexen are drains equipped with a number of innovative technologies, facilitating installation and everyday use. These include:

  • installation stabilizers - are profiled mounting bars attached to the side walls of the siphon chamber. Their task is to permanently seat and hold the product while pouring the floor mass that attaches the drain to the previously poured floor.
  • adjustable legs - allow adjustment of the drain height to the needs and possibilities of the installation site. The height adjustment range is 5-7 cm. Depth is especially important during product installation in thin ceilings.
  • damping distances - are part of the cover. They ensure the perfect placement of the grate and absorb noise generated when water falls directly onto the drainage.
  • sealing collar - a product made of special material. Its task is to improve the drainage's tightness and protect against leakage of drained water.
