If you're bored with classic glass shelves, you can choose graphite shelves – dark, elegantly finished, and designed with minimalist aesthetics. Their undoubted advantages are their simple form and smooth texture, which help maintain the surface cleanliness. Such bathroom shelves can complement other black elements of your decor or contrast with white tiles and ceramics. While designing graphite shelves, Mexen designers have drawn inspiration from the latest trends in the bathroom industry and decorations known from luxury hotels, where there is a departure from closed cabinets in favor of open and relatively wide shelves adapted for storing many items.
No matter if you have a small or large bathroom, you can install at least a few open shelves. The first, particularly useful place for adding a shelf is right above the sink. You can place toiletries and all handy accessories there, which will free up the sink and facilitate an aesthetic arrangement of the interior. The dark color of graphite contrasts perfectly with white fixture elements, so consider mounting a shelf right above the toilet. If you want to hide intimate accessories, you can use practical closed baskets, which are an excellent way to control clutter. If the toilet bowl is next to a wall, you can use the free space and install several shelves in a row. This solution is possible even in very small interiors – in such cases, the shelves can be hung a bit higher to not hinder movement.
