Wenge wall slats – elegance inspired by nature

The color wenge has been associated with elegant interiors for years. Slats in this shade perfectly imitate natural exotic wood, maintaining its elegant structure. Just like them, they are resistant to daily use. The veneer replicates the delicate grain and warm sheen of wood, making the slats offered by Mexen look noble and natural.

Mexen's wenge wall slats can be installed both vertically and horizontally, depending on the effect you want to achieve. Vertically, they visually elongate the space; horizontally, they broaden and create rhythm. The dark wenge color contrasts beautifully with light furniture, highlighting their shape and adding depth to the interior. This solution blends excellently with natural fabrics, black fixtures, and gold-colored accessories.

Mexen's wenge slats – different series, perfect effect

Mexen offers wenge slats in two variants – Lam-B and Lam-F. Both models are made of high-quality MDF strips covered with veneer that faithfully represents the wood's structure. The Lam-B series are classic panels with a 4 mm thick hard HDF backing, perfect for wall and ceiling decorations. On the other hand, Lam-F features a 6 mm thick felt backing, giving them acoustic properties. Felt not only muffles sounds and reduces echo but also adds a pleasant, cozy character to the interior.

The slat dimensions are 275 cm (length) and 30 cm (width), making installation quick and hassle-free. The spacing between slats (20 mm) maintains proportions and ensures that the coverings do not overwhelm the wall. Therefore, there is no fear that the room will appear optically smaller. Panels can be mounted with mounting glue or screws, depending on the type of surface.

Wenge coverings from Mexen are not only a decoration but also an investment in durability. MDF and HDF boards are protected against moisture and scratches, and the veneer surface is UV resistant, ensuring that wenge wall slats retain their intense color and smooth texture for many years. The acoustic version with felt (Lam-F) additionally contains flame-retardant materials, increasing the safety of use.

The dark wenge color, combined with black felt or a contrasting wall background, creates an exceptionally elegant composition. The application of slats is very wide. Their appearance is their greatest advantage, and their usability features and technical parameters make the coverings suitable for installation in both private homes and offices, restaurants, hotels, or recreational areas, where effect and functionality matter.
