Frostproof tiles in bathroom and on terrace

Frostproof tiles with excellent technical parameters for outdoor spaces

The most important feature of Mexen frostproof tiles is their very low absorbability — below 0.5%. As a result, water does not penetrate inside, does not freeze and does not crack the structure of the tiles. When there is a sudden warming after severe frosts, Mexen porcelain tiles withstand sudden temperature changes. You don't have to worry about cracks or bulges, because glazed porcelain is resistant to such phenomena. This property makes Mexen frostproof tiles an ideal choice for terraces, balconies or entrance stairs.

Where natural stone requires impregnation, and despite efforts can become damaged, porcelain maintains stability and an aesthetic appearance. This level of resistance (confirmed by the manufacturer's specification) makes it an excellent choice for terraces, entrance stairs or facades, especially in zones with significant temperature fluctuations. Frost resistance is not the only advantage of the tiles. Mexen offers products in a wide range of colors, making it easier to choose finishing materials that match the color of the facade and the style of the property.

External frostproof tiles

Frostproof tiles that impress with modern and aesthetic design

Although frost resistance is associated with functionality, Mexen doesn't forget about design. Large parts of outdoor spaces gain an elegant character thanks to patterns imitating stone, wood, or concrete. Frostproof tiles like Neo Travertino Crema work well in modern and Scandinavian-inspired spaces. If the entire property is designed in a glamour style, such accents cannot be missing on the terrace and balcony. A good example of this is Viola Gold with delicate golden veining typical of marble.

PEI 3 and PEI 4 abrasion classes guarantee that the pattern and gloss of our frostproof tiles won't fade even with intensive use. Rectified edges, minimal grout, and V2 shade variation make the surface look like a continuous, vast plane — whether underfoot in a spa or on a terrace overlooking the garden. You can use frostproof tiles anywhere, even indoors, achieving smooth transitions between enclosed rooms and the open terrace.

Frostproof tiles in bathroom and on balcony

Resistance to everything — frostproof tiles resistant not only to frost

Mexen tiles are also exceptionally resistant to wear, dirt, mechanical damage, and UV radiation. Thanks to their appropriate structure and high anti-slip level (R9), they are a safe choice for open terraces. They do not yellow or fade under external factors such as sunlight, which is a common problem with other materials, and are easy to maintain.

The Mexen offer includes frostproof tiles in large formats of 120x60 cm, which fit very well into contemporary architectural standards. By laying such ceramic tiles, you don't have to worry that the wall will look like a non-uniform surface. The rectification process allows our tiles to be laid with minimal grout. Furthermore, glazed porcelain of class 1 has excellent durability — it's an investment that does not require later impregnation or renovation.
