Floor porcelain tiles in the bathroom

Glazed floor porcelain – technology that ensures durability

For years, porcelain has been regarded as one of the most durable finishing materials. Thanks to the glazing process, Mexen floor tiles gain not only an elegant appearance but also an additional protective layer. The surface of porcelain tiles becomes resistant to mechanical damage, dirt, moisture, and high temperatures, making them a practical choice for kitchens and bathrooms. PEI abrasion classes 3 and 4 allow their use confidently in corridors and living rooms, where many people pass daily.

Frost resistance is equally important. Mexen glazed floor porcelain retains its properties even in sub-zero temperatures, making it suitable for terraces, balconies, and outdoor stairs. Thanks to its low absorbency, it does not crack or deform under frost. Meanwhile, rectified edges allow floor porcelain tiles to be laid with minimal grout, creating a uniform, elegant, cohesive surface that is easy to clean. This combination of features makes Mexen floor porcelain a choice for years.

Floor tiles: porcelain that suits any interior

Porcelain is an extremely versatile material. Matte variants provide a subtle, elegant character and have an R9 anti-slip class, increasing safety in bathrooms and corridors. Meanwhile, glossy glazed porcelain floor tiles, such as white Nolte Gold, beautifully reflect light and visually enlarge the space – they are ideal for kitchens or smaller rooms.

In terms of aesthetics, floor porcelain allows for almost unlimited design possibilities. In the Mexen collections, you will find floor porcelain tiles in various patterns and colors – inspired by stone, wood, or concrete – that you can match with glamour, minimalist, industrial, or classic style. Importantly, floor porcelain works well with underfloor heating – it heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly. This way, you get not only beautiful flooring but also daily thermal comfort.
